Perforated thoracic catheter w/trocar 16fg

Drainage catheter specially designed for the thoracic cavity.

Specially designed for the thoracic cavity. Completely atraumatic.
Open distal end with two smooth eyes to facilitate drainage. ,With line
radiopaque for radiological detection.

With Luer lock connector.
Directions for use, 1. Place the dog in lateral recumbency and prepare the area
from the chest that goes from the last rib to the front leg.

2.
Make an incision between the intercostal spaces 9-10 cm.

3.
Insert the catheter together with the trocar.

4. The angle between the catheter and
the chest must be 90º.

5. Place the ball in the palm of your hand.
clamp the trocar and gently introduce the catheter into the thoracic cavity.

6. Once the trocar tip is inserted, place it at an angle
cranioventral. The catheter is then allowed to slide through the trocar, pushing it
gently into the thoracic cavity, always in a cranioventral direction.

7. Once the trocar is removed, clamp the catheter.

8. Suture the
catheter to keep it in the correct position.

9. Cut the catheter to the
desired measurement and place the luer adapter.

10. Connect a key
three ways and a syringe to it.
