Interactions and incompatibilities
It is known that there is cross-sensitivity to cephalosporins for bacteria sensitive to the group of
cephalosporins.
Indications and target species
Bovine: Respiratory processes caused by Pasteurella multocida y M.haemolytica. Dermatitis
interdigital necrosis, infectious bulbar necrosis and acute interdigital necrosis. Acute mastitis due to E. coli with
systemic symptoms.
Calves: sepsis due to E.coli.
Pigs: Bacterial infections of the lungs and respiratory tract caused by pasteurella
multocida, Haemophilus parasuis, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Streptococcus suis and other
microorganisms sensitive to cefquinome. Mastitis-Metritis-Agalactia (MMA) syndrome in which
find involved E.coli, Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp. and other microorganisms
sensitive to cefquinome.
Piglets: Reduction of mortality in cases of meningitis caused by Streptococcus suis.
For the treatment of arthritis produced by Streptococcus spp., E. coli and other sensitive organisms
to cefquinome; Epidermitis (medium or moderate lesions) produced by Staphylococcus hyicus.
Contraindications
• Animals that have manifested hypersensitivity to beta-lactam antibiotics.
• Do not administer to animals weighing less than 1,25 kg.

Special precautions
• Shake before using.
• Use dry, sterile syringes and needles.
• Do not handle the product if you know you are allergic to beta-lactams or if you have been told not to.
