Credelio Chewable Tablets for Dogs Internal and external antiparasitic for dogs.

Pharmaceutical Form: Biconvex, round, chewable tablet, white to beige in color with brown spots and beveled edges. It has the letter “I” embossed on one side.

Indications of use:
Credelio Plus It is indicated for the treatment of infestations and mixed infections of ticks, fleas, gastrointestinal nematodes, dirofilariae (heartworms) and lung parasites such as Angiostrongylus vasorumIt is suitable for dogs at risk of simultaneous infestations.

For tick and flea control:

• Eliminates infestations of Dermacentor reticulatus, Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes hexagonus, Ctenocephalides felis y Ctenocephalides canis.
• Provides protection during 1 month.
• Help in the treatment strategy of the flea allergy dermatitis (FAD).

For the treatment of gastrointestinal nematodes:

• Hookworms: Ancylostoma caninum in its L4, immature and adult stages.
• Roundworms: toxocara canis y Toxascaris leonina.
• Whipworms: Trichuris vulpis.

Prevention of heartworm disease:
Prevents infestations by larvae of Unforgiving heartworms.

Prevention of angiostrongylosis:
Reduces the level of infection with immature adults and adult stages of Angiostrongylus vasorum.

Contraindications: Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or excipients.

Resistance to anthelmintics may develop after repeated use; therefore, individual assessment based on local epidemiological conditions is essential. Before administration in endemic areas of dirofilariasis, an examination to detect active infections should be performed.

Adverse reactions:
In some cases, vomiting, diarrhea, anorexia, convulsions, muscle tremors or ataxia may occur. These reactions are rare and usually short-lived.

Dosage and Administration:

• 11–22 kg: 1 tablet Credelio 450/16,88 mg.
• 22–45 kg: 1 tablet Credelio 900/33,75 mg.
• >45 kg: Combination of tablets suitable for the dog's weight.

Frequency: Administer monthly based on risk assessment.
