Antiparasitic for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations
(Ctenocephalides felis) in dogs and cats.
– COMPOSITION Fipronil 2,5
mg/ml, - Indications, Treatment and prevention of flea infestations and
ticks. The product can be used as part of a strategy
Treatment for the control of flea bite allergy dermatitis
(DAPP). Treatment of biting lice infestations in dogs
(Trichodectes canis) and cats (Felicola subrostratus).
Properties, Fipronil is an insecticide and acaricide of the family of
phenylprazoles. It acts by inhibiting the GABA complex, binding to the chloride channel and
thus blocking the pre- and postsynaptic transfer of chloride ions through
of cell membranes. This generates uncontrolled activity of the system
central nervous system and the death of insects and mites.
Contraindications: Do not administer to sick animals (systemic diseases,
feverà) or convalescents do not administer to rabbits, as this may cause
adverse reactions to the medication including death.
– DOSAGE,For
Moisten the coat to the skin, apply 3 to 6 ml per kg of weight (7,5 to 15 mg
of active ingredient per kg of weight), depending on the length of the hair.
