Composition by tablet:
Glucosamine HCl 500mg; sodium chondroitin sulfate 190 mg; omega-3 fatty acids 100 mg; turmeric extract 50 mg; eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) 47mg; docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) 33 mg.
Pharmacological properties
Omega-3 fatty acids, glucosamine, chondroitin and turmeric extract (curcumin) are important components for the maintenance of healthy cartilage and normal joint function.
Indications
Dogs: For the support of normal joint function in dogs.
Route of administration
Orally.
Posology
Dogs:
Initial period of 4-6 weeks:
– Less than 10 kg: 1 tablet per day.
– From 10-20 kg: 2 tablets a day.
– From 20-40 kg: 3 tablets a day.
– More than 40 kg: 4 tablets per day.
After an initial period of 4-6 weeks of administration, the daily dose can be gradually reduced to half a tablet per week. If during this period the condition of the animal changes, consult the veterinarian. This reduction can be repeated weekly until a maintenance level of half the initial dose is achieved.
Seraquin Omega tablets can be taken directly or crushed and mixed with regular food.
