Description
Stronghold Cat Plus 15/2,5mg 6 Pipettes 0-2,5kg combines selamectin and sarolaner in 0,25ml pipettes for cats up to 2,5kg. The box contains 6 pipettes and, compared to selamectin alone, sarolaner provides additional action against ticks.
Indications
This product treats and prevents flea (Ctenocephalides spp.) and tick infestations, and is also indicated for ear mites and biting lice. It kills adult fleas before they lay eggs and, due to its ovicidal and larvicidal action, can help control the environment. It can be part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis.

Frequently asked questions
What's different between the box of 6 pipettes and the box of 3?
Nothing changes in the dosage of each pipette. Only the number of applications included in the package varies.
From what age and weight can it be used?
From 8 weeks of age and at least 1,25 kg. If the kitten does not reach these limits, the veterinarian will suggest another alternative.
How does Stronghold cat plus 15/2,5mg 6 pipettes 0-2,5kg differ from other concentrations?
The amount of active ingredient increases with the cat's weight, and both active ingredients are the same. This is the pipette for cats up to 2,5 kg.
Does it remove ticks before they bite?
No: the tick must attach and feed to become exposed to sarolaner. Regular coat checks are still helpful.
What side effects might there be?
The most common side effect is a mild, temporary itching at the application site. Redness and drooling are rare. If these persist, contact your veterinarian.
The choice of pipette is confirmed with the veterinarian based on the cat's actual weight.
